i love having you in the kitchen with me. You’re almost as well-behaved as Francis, almost. You get hard-headed sometimes, stubborn about wanting to be petted and scratched when i can’t exactly touch you at the moment (as i’m handling food). When you get into that mood, you bite and scratch. Thankfully, the water spritzer that our housekeeper uses for the ironing is nearby. i need a spritzer of my own for you. Oh and you rush to greet anyone who opens the door - scratching them in the process, and annoying them in the process.

Also, i’m afraid of putting you on a high place, like a chair, while my attention isn’t solely on you. You might jump down and injure yourself.

Still, i love having you with me, a companionable creature to talk to, to touch. It makes cooking and washing dishes more enjoyable.
